26 Books to Read in 2023

For the past two years, I’ve chosen 13 books that I’ve wanted to read throughout the coming year. This year I decided to double that number, and make it 26 instead! I guess I’m feeling a bit ambitious with my reading goals, though there was a time when I was reading 26+ books a month! How times have changed…

Normally I show photos of all the books I’m going to read, but this year I’m switching it up. I normally try to tackle books that I’ve had on my bookshelf for a certain amount of time, but this year I decided to split it between 16 books I already own and 10 being books I don’t own and will need to borrow from my local library or maybe eventually purchase if I come across them for a good price. Honestly, after the stinging disappointment of The Library of the Dead, I’m hesitant to buy any books without first reading them

So here are the 26 books I want to read in 2023! I’m going to put in parentheses whether I own them or not just so everyone sees that it is indeed an even split.

  1. Practical Magic – Alice Hoffman (Don’t own)
  2. Verify – Colleen Hoover (Don’t own)
