Small Business Review: Con*Quest Journals

I make no secret of it- I LOVE STATIONARY! Notebooks, planners, sticky notes, parchment paper, etc… I’m a sucker for all of it! I also love using stickers, colored pens, and more to make a letter more fun and personalized or make my planner more functional. Another thing I make no secret of is my love for Harry Potter. Though I’m a part of many other fandoms, Harry Potter will always be my number one fandom because of the magic it has brought to my life and the continuous joy it brings me every time I read it or watch the movies (except Deathly Hallows Part 2, that one does not spark joy for me).

So with those two things in mind, it should be no surprise that my next small business review is of a business that combines two of my favorite things- Stationary and Harry Potter. The About Us statement on their website says it all- Con*Quest Journals™ was created out of necessity. After years of vending at fan and comic conventions and gathering photo-ops, autographs, ticket stubs and all of the bits left in the bottom of backpacks, the team came up with the idea for a journal designed especially for comic, fan and gaming conventions. A place to keep that swag that stays in your bag. Since that time, they have created Officially Licensed Harry Potter ™, Supernatural™ and Gen Con™ planners, journals, tote bags and stickers that fans love. You can catch them on the road sometimes, they travel to cons all around the country. So Con*Quest Journals was created by fans for fans, which I think is one of the things that makes all their products so awesome. Each item is thought out carefully with a lot of hard work and love put into then and with the fans using them in mind!

So when the time came for me to start planning my 2021 planner (yes I plan my planner before I even purchase it), I knew I wanted one from Con*Quest Journals. Their 2020 house edition planners were amazing, but sadly I already purchased my 2020 planner before I saw them, so I wasn’t going to make that mistake this year! So back in July while they were having a sale, I purchased my 2021 planner along with a sticker pack I had been eyeing for awhile and a notepad that my friend Brandy had shown on her YouTube channel. When I received them in the mail and opened them, I was immediately stunned by the amazing quality of each piece.

When I say the planner I purchased is the nicest planner I have ever owned, I’m not exaggerating! And the best part is- It’s a blank planner so in case I decided against using it in 2021, I could use in 2022 or any other year. I’ve since used a few of the stickers to mark the days when my fiancée and I are going to Universal Studios. Admittedly, the notepad hasn’t been used yet because I’m doing the whole I’ll-never-have-anything-good-enough-to-write-on-it dilemma. Though I’m trying to break myself of that habit, it’s still a struggle especially when it comes to my Harry Potter notebooks!

I love this planner! I love the way the weeks are set up and I think it’s very clever that the monthly goals page looks Quidditch goals. I also like how there are extra pages for if you want to write something in it (maybe like a to do list or a homework list) and how there is the dotted paper for if you do bullet journaling on make a daily tracker chart. And the stickers… I love stickers, so they’re perfect. Overall, the theme of this planner is perfect for me and I am very excited to use it!

So with the planner purchased I was feeling ready to start setting it up for 2021… and then a month later they had a pre-order for their 2021 planner, which was inspired by Snape’s textbook and student journals. I told myself I didn’t need it, that I had my 2021 planner… and then I think it was less than a week later that I pre-ordered it.

This planner is by far my favorite planner that I have ever purchased/owned. The theme of this planner is strong from open to close. The weekly set up matches the one in the planner I have now, so I know exactly how I’ll set it up. I love the page dedicated to the 2021 goals and reminders because it’ll be the perfect place to reference all my goals and help keep me on track. The monthly to do page is also perfect for me because I love to do lists! And the stickers… they’re beautiful, they’re perfect, and I love them. I can’t describe just how much I love this planner and how excited I am to be using it for 2021!

I don’t think I’ll ever be purchasing a planner from anyone else. The time, dedication, and creativity that goes into their products is amazing. Not only that, but their social media interaction with their customers is amazing. Both times I’ve posted about my purchases on my Instagram account, I’ve received a really nice thank you from them, which I feel shows just how much they care about their customers happiness with their products.

What I’ve purchased from them doesn’t even begin to cover all the products they have and the other fandoms they make products for! As of this post going up, they have five fandoms on their site. Those fandoms are- Harry Potter, Supernatural, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Great British Baking Show, and Survivor. I love the mixture of fandoms they have as well as the mixture of products. They have planners, notebooks, stickers, washiest tape, and more. So if you know anyone who is a member of any of these fandoms, you’re sure to find something they’ll love on Con*Quest Journals site!

If you want to learn more about Con*Quest Journals or check out their products, you can find the link to their website here. You can also find them on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/conquestjournals (they also have a Twitter account you can visit for product updates and more). If you decide to follow them on Instagram or Facebook, say hello and let them know where you first heard about Con*Quest Journals from! I really believe that this is a company worth putting your money into because the products are beautiful, well made, and are for the fans. I fully believe in backing small businesses who are run by people who are passionate about what they’re doing and Con*Quest Journals is one of those business.! So I truly hope that some of you reading this post will take the time to visit the site and purchase some items for yourself!

With that being said, I hope everyone has a good week and I hope that you will consider supporting Con*Quest Journals. as well!

  1. These sound like great products for Harry Potter fans, Michelle. You are so organised. I have diaries which I fill up with story ideas and bits of poetry – no planning at all. My planning is in my head which isn’t the best way to do things.

  2. […] I make no secret of it- I love my 2021 planner that I purchased from Con*Quest Journals. The theme, the layout, the Harry Potter goodness of it… there’s nothing about my 2021 planner I don’t love! So it should no surprise that when the time came for me to purchase my 2022 planner, I purchased it from Con*Quest Journals (review of this small business can be found here). […]
