5 Favorite Harry Potter Replicas: Part 1

As many of you can tell from my blog posts, I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan. My collection has grown past just the books- It has grown to Funko Pops, clothing, jewelry and collectibles, especially replicas of my favorite things from the Harry Potter universe. So in this post, I want to share some of those items with all of you. And if you guys are interested, I will make this a post every few month or as I get more collectibles. But here are the first five!

1- The Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw (Noble Collection)

As a Ravenclaw, I have always felt that this is a must have item for my collection- The item that represents the founder of my house. It is an expensive piece- $150- so I knew it would be some time before this beautiful replica joined my collection. But then for Christmas my amazing boyfriend gifted me with this item and I was beside myself with happiness. For one thing, this diadem is beautiful! The way the stones catch in the light, sparkling and casting their own light, it’s  a sight to behold. It came in a sturdy box with the Ravenclaw crest proudly decorating the inside lid of the box. Blue satin material with a stand for the diadem are inside the box, awaiting the diadem to be placed inside for safe keeping. Unfortunately I can’t wear it, so I just get to enjoy its beauty on my shelf, which is perfectly fine with me.

2- Hermione’s Time Turner Necklace (Noble Collection)

I’ve said this several times before- Hermione Granger is and always will be my favorite Harry Potter character. So it should be no surprise that her iconic necklace from Prisoner of Azkaban has found its way onto the list. Now I’m not a gold jewelry person at all, I’ve always gone toward silver, but this necklace is my exception. It’s stunning! It turns several different ways and has sand in it that moves when you turn the hourglass upside down. The detailing on this necklace is beautiful and it feels well made. This necklace proudly sits on my Hermione shelf and I wear it often. It is one of my favorite purchases that I have ever made.

3- Hogwarts Trunk Purse (Platform 9 3/4)

For as long as I can remember all I wanted to do was pack my trunk and go off to Hogwarts. I used to pretend to do both when I was a child although my “trunk” was a small Harry Potter backpack and I would “go to Hogwarts” by going to a different part of the house. When I discovered the website Platform 9 3/4 I saw that they had Hogwarts trunks and got really excited. But admittedly they are pricey and I don’t travel enough to need one. So when they released a smaller version my boyfriend ordered one for me as part of my birthday present. It arrived after my birthday with my initials on the side and as beautiful as I could have hoped. I’ve used it quite a bit since I received it and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it as well. Because of the closures on it, it can be a pain to open from time to time, but it has a lot of room in it and the strap is the perfect length for me. I still plan on getting the bigger one eventually so I have the set, but until then I am very happy with my trunk purse!

4- Interactive Monster Books of Monsters (Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando)

One of my favorite scenes from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is Harry’s first encounter with the Monster Book of Monsters. As an avid book lover my entire life, my younger self was incredibly excited about this book, knowing full well it could probably bite my fingers and toes off. I have always wanted it and was extremely excited back in August when I bought a monster Book of Monsters notebook. It’s cute and I adore it, but on one of my more recent trips to the Wizarding World at the shop Dervish and Banges I found an interactive Monster Book of Monsters! It makes noise, makes the chomping motion, and our cat absolutely hates it! It’s the closest I will ever get to the one in Harry Potter and at least I won’t have to worry about loss of fingers or toes with this one! And isn’t it just the cutest book you’ve ever seen?

5- Rememberall (From Cherry Wallis’ Curation of Magical Curiosities Christmas Box)

“The only problem is I can’t remember what I’ve forgotten.” How many times have we uttered that phrase to ourselves? I’m not a very forgetful person, but I’ve always wanted a Rememberall because I thought it was an interesting magical item. I mean, how can an object possibly know you’ve forgotten something?! Thanks to Cherry Wallis, who is one of my favorite Harry Youtubers, releasing a box through GeekGear, I now own one! Though this one doesn’t turn red when I hold it- probably because I haven’t forgotten anything- it is a beautiful replica that I am proud to own! The detailing on it makes it something special and since Sorcerer’s Stone is my favorite Harry Potter book and movie, I am proud to have an iconic piece from the two in my collection. At least I’ll never have to worry about it ending up in a tree!

So these are just 5 of my favorite replicas that I currently own. I would like to make this a post every few months or as I purchase more replicas. Let me know your thoughts on that!

Also if you have anything Harry Potter wise you would like to, please let me know! I’m enjoying sharing my love of Harry Potter with all of you and I hope you guys are enjoying it as well! Have a great week everyone!
