1. Keep freelancing- I’m still only focusing on the one job. Now that I’m working two retail jobs besides this one, I think it’s best not to stretch myself too much.
2. Update both blogs 1x a week- So I’ve fallen behind on this resolution. With starting the two new jobs, it threw my schedule out of whack a bit. But I’m hoping to turn this around again!
3. Finish one draft of my novel- After receiving some amazing and much needed advice on my novel, I’m reworking the beginning that I have. I’m not scraping it or starting over- I’m just adding to it to make it a stronger and more interesting beginning. I know how I want the novel to go, but I’ve realized the foundation of it isn’t as strong as it could be. With this new feedback, I see how I can make it better, and that’s exactly what I’m doing! I’m hoping to have the beginning flushed out better by the end of October.
So this month has gone better than August for sure, but it was a hectic month filled with a lot of changes! Hopefully October helps slow things down a bit and help me get myself and my writing back on track! Have a great week everyone!
I’m glad to hear that September went better for you than August. Kudos on your novel progress!
