So last month I decided to start a new series where near the end of each month I would share some of the things that had inspired me during the month. Since March is almost over, here are the two things that have been inspiring me in the month of March!
80’s Music
I love 80’s music. Everything about it makes me really happy and energized. And over the last month I’ve been listening to it a lot more, especially when I work. I find myself going back to the same artists or songs over and over again, even listening to some on repeat because I just love them that much. The list of songs and artists I’ve been listening to is a long one, so I’ll just share some of my favorites!
A-ha- Take On Me
Big Country- In a Big Country
Dead or Alive- You Spin Me Round and Brand New Lover
Depeche Mode- Just Can’t Get Enough
Duran Duran- The Reflex and Hungry Like the Wolf
Naked Eyes- Always Something There to Remind Me
Pet Shop Boys- West End Girls
Jefferson Starship- We Built This City
Tears For Fears- Head Over Heels and Everybody Wants to Rule the World
90’s Music
I grew up in the 90’s and have the fondest memories of some of the music from this decade. Certain songs remind me of car rides with my parents, sleepovers with friends. or other good memories. Obviously there are a lot of 90’s songs I’ve been going to, but some I’ve been going to more than others. So here are the 90’s songs I’ve been listening to the most this month!
98°- Because of You and I Do
Backstreet Boys- Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)
Barenaked Ladies- One Week
Depeche Mode- Enjoy the Silence
Filter- Take a Picture
Five- When the Lights Go Out
Madonna- Ray of Light
New Radicals- You Get What You Give
*NYSNC- Tearin’ Up My Heart
Savage Garden- I Want You (a.k.a the Chica Cherry Cola song)
Third Eye Blind- Never Let You Go
So this has definitely been the month of musical inspiration for me! It’s interesting to see how much my inspirations change each month. I can’t wait to see what April’s inspirations are! I hope everyone has a great day!
